after a very successful lunch expedition, we intend to continue on with this cultural experience. each of us will prepare a dish, native to where we are from.

for those who are not familiar with Kare Kare..it is a rich stew of beef (or ox tail), tripe (optional) and a variety of vegetables (bok choy/string beans/eggplant/banana flower) in a sauce flavored and thickened with roasted ground peanuts (peanut butter is just as good! this is what i use)
